For several years from 1990 Edmund Barker painted animals in the wild,
and African landscapes, in and around the Masai Mara reserve, Kenya.
He has been an exhibiting member of the Wildlife Art Society since its foundation in 1992.
He has clients for his work in Europe, Australia, Kenya itself, and the United States,
and has held two one-man exhibitions at the Roland Goslett Gallery.
