About the Gallery
Opened in 1980, the Gallery principally stocks late 19th & early to mid 20th century oils and watercolours, as well as some work in pastel and pencil
Subject-matter is diverse, and whilst most paintings are by British artists,
some Irish and French works are often in stock
There is also a selection of contemporary work, particularly woodcuts by Andrew Ferguson, a Richmond resident, and local views in oils by Christopher Glanville, RWA
