ANDREW FERGUSON

Andrew was educated at Manchester University and Goldsmiths' College.

After a 20 year career as a university lecturer in art & design he left education to concentrate on his own art, principally the woodcut. He has found that the expressive nature of this medium is well suited to the evocation of mood in depicting and interpreting the rich and varied topography of British landscape. He has exhibited widely in Britain, Europe and America. He has now held eleven annual exhibitions at the Roland Goslett Gallery, which always carries examples of his work.

Please find below selected images from the now-70 woodcuts of Richmond and environs that Andrew has executed since 2008.
